State scientific centre for virology and biotechnology “Vector” has confirmed that Anaferon for children is effective against flu virus A (H1N1/09)

Epidemic situation 2009 clearly showed the necessity to search for new effective domestic antiviral remedies to cure flu. Ministry for Healthcare ordered strict experimental researches of different antiviral products in two leading scientific-research institutes. The goal of the research is to clear up which Russian medicines are as effective as those recommended by WHO.

“Vector” carried out the research to find out antiviral activity of Anaferon for children. The results indicated that Anaferon for children is as effective as oseltamivir if taking by medical-preventive regimen. Thus the results of the research confirmed the possibility to apply Anaferon for children as medical-preventive A (H1N1) flu medicine.
