Ergoferon is a complex antiviral medicine for the treatment of influenza, acute respiratory infections, acute intestinal infections of viral aetiology in adults and children aged 6 months and above. Ergoferon combines properties of several medications (with antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and immuno-suppressant activity). Due to a combination of four activities, Ergoferon fights viruses, soothes inflammation, removes symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections, and boosts immunity.

Description of the drug

Flat-cylindrical tablets, scored and chamfered, from white to almost white. On the flat side with a risk, the inscription MATERIA is applied MEDICA, ERGOFERON inscription on the other flat side.

Indications for use

Ergoferon® is indicated for use in adults and children over 6 months of age.
Treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI).
Treatment of acute intestinal infections of viral etiology.

Dosage and administration
The notch is not intended for dividing the tablet into parts.
Inside, not during a meal. The tablet should be kept in the mouth, not swallowing, until completely dissolved.
When prescribing the drug to young children (from 6 months to 3 years) it is recommended to dissolve the tablet in a small amount (1 tablespoon) boiled water at room temperature.
Adults and children from 6 months. On the 1st day of treatment, take 8 tablets as follows: 1 tablet every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours (total 5 tablets 2 hours), then during the same day take another 1 tablet 3 times through equal intervals of time. On the 2nd day and beyond, take 1 tablet 3 times per day until complete recovery.
If necessary, the drug can be combined with other antiviral and symptomatic means.
